Still lurking in the background, moved to tauranga and full time single dad working as well so not a lot of free time.
Will set up again once I buy house but for now I will just enjoy the tanks on here :)

Tests , Ca 450 , Kh 9.3 . Mg 1320 , P04 0.03 (Hannah)
Tank parameters have been stable for quite a while now .
Finally got some NSW , so going to use that for the next few weeks .
Added a Diamond goby and now some of my fish have broken out with white spot
The joys of adding new fish .....
My fire shrimp has also disappeared , but could have died due to age , as I have had it for quite a few years now .

So .... Dosed some Zeo bac and sponge power yesterday .
Have not done a water change for two weeks . P04 was 0.05 last week
P04 this morning 0.02
Corals have reacted . I can see increased pollip extension .
Can't wait for the zeo elements to arrive , so I can see what results I get from them .
Finally got a frag of my famous blue stag back in the tank .
Took a while to find space for it . Will have to start fragging soon .

Just added the Zeovit automatic elements to the system . 23/8/2015
Put 6 tablets of each element and 3 tablets of aminos into two seperate filter bags , placed in the sump .
Slightly less than the recommendation.
SPS colours are already pretty good .

Cranked up the lights a bit more as well . Will have to keep an eye on everything now .
Each tablet is a different size . The iron ones have turned a rusty colour . Might be a good indication when it will be time to replace them .

Been a week with the Zeovit auto elements .
I have noticed increased pollip extension and a slight darkening of the SPS .
This could be due to a change in lighting .
Corals continue to grow well and it may be time to start fragging the larger colonies .

Pink colours have started to pop now . Noticed my blue acan has started to get a pink glow around the mouths .
Light blue stag frag starting to get a nice light blue colour .
Changed all my dosing pump pipes to silicon . I read that they don't get a dirty black build up in them .
:cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9:
Going to start fragging again , as some of my bigger acros are getting too big .

Looking good Brendon. If only I get get SPS corals to look and grow half as good as you do I would be a happy man.

Thanks Mate ! I'm surprised you still have a tank considering you spend so much time away from home .
SPS is a bit of an addiction for me . Trying to achieve the best colours I can .

To those of you that remember a certain light blue stag that I had when my SPS were looking amazing and everyone that saw it , wanted a frag .
I am happy to report that I have managed to get that amazing blue colour back .
Unfortunately it is only a frag , so none available for sale .
Looks like the snake oil is doing the job :yay:
