For a 500 Litre FOWLR tank, will be some messy eaters going in there.

I really like the look of the Bubble Magus from my research, but experience tells me I need to be careful when spending my hard earned bikkies (or whats left after a sneaky recent purchase)

The Deltec is effectively twice the price, is it twice as good as the Bubble Magus?

Any opinions? (Reef I know what your opinion will be ;) )

What I've read about Bubble Magnus is you should get one that does double the capacity you need. I would suggest with messy eaters you'd want to go up to a curve 9

Footprint too big for the sump unfortunately for a Curve 9

Did some more research into the Deltec. Many are saying its quieter than the Bubble Magus, and it was noise that attracted me to the Bubble Magus in the first place as they're supposed to be one of the quietest on the market.

Not what I thought you'd say!

Whats RRP on those and who's a local retailer in CHC? Will investigate

i have a second hand one for sale, 6 months old, $350 upgraded to the 9430.
Its quiet, needs at least 140mm of water,

Here is what the 9430 can do,

Good thing about them are that they are self leveling.
