 Post subject: Rapid LED PAR38's any one used them ?

Im thinking this may be the best option for my nano atm has any got experiance with these bulbs ? Cheers Ben

i would suggest orphek par fixtures as there stuff is better and brighter im useing rapid led diy leds with dimmable meanwell drivers not very bright at 90% in the led buisness you get what you pay for be carefull

My flatmate's rapidled DIY leds are very bright, he runs them at around 50% I believe for a 2' x 2' tank.

You probably just don't have enough LEDs for the size of your tank.

RapidLED Par38's have great reviews online, generally considered one of the top 3 par38 bulbs.

You might instead consider gutting a cheap aquarium light (eg one of the clip on ones) and installing your own DIY leds. It will be cheaper and you will have better control over what colors/combinations you get.
