I'm currently experimenting with a few locally available intertidal algae species to see how well they grow in tropical aquarium conditions.

Current contenders are Hormosira banksii and Codium fragile, along with Ulva if I can find some and a few filamentous coralline species.

Running the water at 28-30 degrees C with salinity of 1.026 and will see how things go. Algae are under a Tunze 8850 full spectrum LED.

Hopefully will be able to use these algae to run the Triton method.
