I need help from any tech people out there. I have a usb blue tooth generic radio device that I need to install on windows 7 for my insulin pump to communicate with the computer so I can load its programes.
Doesn't matter what I do it won't install the drivers. Have even tried updating all drivers ect. Keep coming up with the code 10 can't start.

It will install on xp no problem only thing is my xp computer now dead..

Can anyone give me some tips please. I did pay a computer tech guy to come out and follow a utube clip that the rep sent me but didnt work. Also tried blue tooth microsoft fix and trouble shooting to no avail. :please: can someone help I'm desperate as I need this with my failing vision to use the pump for my medication. .

Uninstall the bluetooth again and try disable the microsoft bluetooth hardware/software, before reinstalling, sometimes the microsoft one can cause issues with the one your trying to install

Ok do you know how to get into device manager? Its in control panel, plug in the bluetooth device into different usb, see what happens, if fails again go to device manager, look for usb devices, find the one that failed, usually will have a yellow ! Icon, open that and see what it says, try click update driver if it gives you the option, and look for a option to search for drivers online

Is it really sensible to be asking for (possibly dodgy) help online for a device that could, I assume kill you or make you very sick?

Surely the provider or the hospital have experts that probably deal with your exact problem every day, and if they don't provide support, personally I'd be questioning using the thing.

its not the pump itself just the blue tooth dongle that connects to computer. I'm presuming its an issue with my computer not the devise as will connect on my old xp thats now died and on a friends windows 7 64 bit..
